When enabled, the control stores one layout, one framing value, one depth-of-field value, and one background type. Defaults are Rule of Thirds, Medium Shot, Medium depth, and Sharp Details. The UI summary displays the active combination before generation.
The owning prompt builders map those values to concise visual instructions such as subject placement, camera distance, environmental visibility, depth separation, or background treatment. These instructions join the broader brief and can be interpreted alongside the prompt, references, style, and text-safe requirements; they do not invoke a geometry engine or deterministic camera renderer.

Setup
A hypothetical creator needs both battery packs visible, with the overheating pack clearly more alarming and enough device context to understand the test.
Action
They enable Split Screen, select Close-Up, choose Medium depth, and use Sharp Details. The prompt describes the damaged casing and temperature warning while the controls carry the structural direction.
Practical result
The hypothetical generation receives a coherent comparison brief, though the creator still checks whether the divide, crop, and product scale were interpreted usefully.
Lesson
Structured choices reduce contradictory prose; they do not lock the model to exact halves, coordinates, or optics.
What this tool does not promise
The selector exposes exactly four layouts, five framing choices, three depth choices, and four background types.
Selections become model-facing instructions, not deterministic camera metadata or layout geometry.
Other active prompts, references, style direction, and text requirements can affect the interpreted composition.
The control does not score hierarchy, detect clipping, or verify feed-size readability in the generated pixels.
